On the Road Again …

Tony Sagami

I am a big country music fan, but I don't bring up the lyrics from Willie Nelson's big hit "On the Road Again" because I feel like two-steppin'.

Rather, I'm excited because I am off on another great Asian treasure hunt.

I love my research trips because I get to see new, fascinating parts of the world, meet interesting people and, most importantly, discover incredible investment opportunities that the Wall Street crowd completely misses.

These research trips are incredibly productive. Six months ago, I traveled to Australia and uncovered three unknown Australian resource companies that are already spinning off some nice gains.

Few places on earth can match Australia's natural resources and energy abundance. An unknown Aussie natural gas company that I recommended to my subscribers in November has jumped from $1.25 to more than $1.60 already!

That's just the tip of the iceberg, though. Wall Street hasn't yet figured out that this "Dollar Dynamo" is about to get a windfall payment equal to THREE YEARS OF PROFIT by the end of this year. It should help the stock DOUBLE by the end of this year.

That's what I call exciting!

Such discoveries are par for the course on my research trips. There is nothing like boots-on-the-ground research, and every trip I've ever made has led to very profitable investment ideas.

2 Countries at a Tipping Point ...

This time, I'm taking an up-close look at what's really happening in Japan and China, both of which are at critical economic tipping points.

In China, economic growth has slowed to the just a hair over 7%, which may sound good to Americans, but is woefully inadequate to keep the Chinese economic juggernaut rolling.

The Chinese stock market is down roughly 4% so far this year but is way down from its winter peak.

The Japanese stock market is doing even worse, down by 12% so far this year even after the most aggressive monetary stimulus program the world has ever seen.

Even if you have zero interest in investing in Chinese or Japanese stocks, you should be keenly interested in what happens in those two countries.

They may ultimately have more of an impact -- a potentially VERY negative impact -- on the U.S. economy and stock market than anything madman Vladimir Putin does in Ukraine.

Remember the 1998 "Asian Contagion?" The U.S. economy is more linked to the Chinese and Japanese economies than ever. If either of those economies slips into a recession, I would expect things to get very ugly over here.

Like a canary in the coal mine, China and Japan are effective early warning indicators.

I will be meeting with both government and business officials during my trip and I expect to have lots of stories, observations and actionable investment ideas to share with you.

I hope that you'll vicariously join me on my trip by joining my newsletter family. I am confident that you'll be very happy with the results.

Best wishes,
Tony

P.S. I'm also hot on the trail of a tiny tech startup that's poised to skyrocket when the "Mobile Supernet" goes nationwide. The details are in my brand-new investor video. Click here to watch it now >>
